Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton is a volunteer-driven organization where we value and appreciate the time and commitment our volunteers put toward our mission to build safe and affordable housing in Montgomery County and Greene County!

Minor Volunteers: Please review our minor volunteer policies on the “Youth Involvement” page on our website, Our minor volunteer policies are mandated by our liability insurance with Lockton Insurance in accordance with state and federal minor labor laws. Minor Liability waivers need to be completed and returned to the Volunteer Services Department prior to your first volunteer day.

Court-Ordered Community Service: We only accept volunteers with court-ordered community service from Montgomery County (Ohio). We cannot accept volunteers from other counties or cities at this time. All volunteers looking for Court-ordered Community service hours need to contact the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule. Per our liability insurance with Lockton Insurance and Habitat International, we cannot accept any court-ordered community service volunteers with violent, sexual, or theft related offenses, misdemeanor and felony.
