Getting Started! To register as a volunteer:
- Click the "Sign In" link in the right-hand corner at the top of this page.
- Click the "Register" button. Complete the registration form.
- *If you do not complete all of the required fields, your registration will not be processed.
- Click the Save and Continue button. If you do this and it takes you back to the registration form, scroll to the top of the page and look for the instruction in red. Hit save and continue again to submit your registration.
Congratulations! You can sign-up for volunteer days using your new login.
Attention Volunteers Under 18
We appreciate all our volunteers and do our best to make sure everyone has a fantastic build day. Part of having a great build day is safety. Due to the hazards of construction work, there are some limitations on what those under 18 may do. Your parent/guardian must complete a Minor Liability Waiver prior to your volunteer day (signing up online does not fulfill this requirement). Please visit our Youth Volunteering page for more information.
To sign up for a volunteer day:
- Sign in with your username and password.
- Scroll down to the date you are interested in volunteering.
- Click the "Sign Up" button for the date you would like to volunteer.
- Follow the prompts to finalize your volunteer date.
You will receive an email confirmation following your completed registration for an event and a reminder email three days before the event.
Need to cancel your volunteer day?
Sign in with your username and password. Scroll down to "Your Events". Locate the event you need to cancel and click the "Cancel" button. Follow the prompts to cancel your event.
Forget your username?
Email the Volunteer Services Coordinator, at volunteer@daytonhabitat.org. You will receive a confirmation email with your usename. You can change your password on the log-in page using the "Forgot Password" link.
Safety Training- Online Training
Nervous about volunteering or want to brush up your skills? You can view our online safety training offered by Lockton Insurance. Your employee access code is W8NAEBTG. View the second link "Volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity Build Site." This is not required, however, you are encouraged to complete it and ask any questions you may have.
Alaska Street Build- We're preparing the site for finish work.

Approximately 3 blocks from Children's Medical Center, near Patterson Park. RTA bus 5 provides the nearest stop at Leo and Alaska. Buses 18 and 19 also provide nearby service, however, would require a longer walk to the site. Please verify with the Miami Valley RTA before utilizing this route due to changing schedules and routes.

Steele Ave. Build- We're finishing up some loose ends indoors & outdoors.

Near Wayne and Wyoming. RTA bus 7 provides the nearest stop at Wyoming and Steele. RTA buses 3, 12, and 66 provide stops on Wayne avenue with a 2-3 block walk to the site as well as RTA bus 4 from Xenia Avenue. Please verify with the Miami Valley RTA before utilizing this route due to changing schedules and routes.

Bellefontaine Ave. Build- Hanging siding

Near Valley St. and Stanley Ave. northeast of Children's Medical Center. The home will be located on Bellefontaine between Brant Pike and Valley Street. RTA buses 5 and 19 provide the closest routes to this home. Please verify with the Miami Valley RTA before utilizing this route due to changing schedules and routes.
Join us as we build a home for Juan, Everly and their children with funding provided by the Neighborhood Stabilization Program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of Dayton, Dayton Phoenix, and volunteer labor provided by the Miami Valley Career Tech Center.

Near N. Broadway and Third; on the corner of Conover and Edison. RTA bus 2 provices service on Broadway. Buses providing service nearby on 3rd Street include buses: 4, 41, and 1. Please verify with the Miami Valley RTA before utilizing this route due to changing schedules and routes.
Join us as we build a home for Tracey and her children at 165 Edison St. in Dayton with funding provided by the Neighborhood Stabilization Program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and The City of Dayton; Catch the Building Spirit fund of the Dayton Foundation and the Presbyterian Coalition; and Stillwater United Methodist Church.

Clement Ave. Build- Kickoff May 18, 11 a.m.

On the corner of Weaver and Clement. Greater Dayton RTA routes LS Dunbar and bus 9 provide closest stops. Please verify with the Miami Valley RTA before utilizing this route due to changing schedules and routes.
Join us as we build a home for Peggie and her children with funding provided by GE Capital, MetLife Foundation Volunteer Project Fund, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati with Wright Patt Credit Union, and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of Dayton.
