Getting Started! To register as a volunteer:
Click the "Sign In" link in the right-hand corner of this page.
Click the "Register" button. Complete the registration form.
*Please note that if you do not complete all of the required fields, your registration will not be processed.
Click the Save and Continue button. If you do this and it takes you back to the registration form, scroll to the top of the page and look for the instruction in red. Hit save and continue again to submit your registration.
Congratulations! You are now registered!
Sign in using your new username and password!
To sign up for a volunteer day:
Sign in with your username and password. Scroll down to the date you are interested in volunteering. If you are interested in a specific build or volunteer location (i.e. ReStore, in the Habitat office) you can locate it by color. Click the Sign Up button for the date you would like to volunteer. Follow the prompts to finalize your volunteer date. You will receive an email confirmation following you completed registration for an event and a reminder email three days before the event.
Need to cancel your volunteer day?
Sign in with your username and password. Scroll down to Your Upcoming Events. Locate the event you need to cancel and click the Cancel button. Follow the prompts to cancel your event.
Forget your username and password?Email the Volunteer Services Director, at volunteer@daytonhabitat.org. Please include your name and what you would like your new password to be. You will receive a confirmation email when your password is changed

Kettering Build
October - February
2515 Hampton Rd.
Help build a home for the family of Faustin Hategekimana, Teresea Uwanyiligira,and their children making it the first Habitat home to be built in Kettering! We're working on exterior siding and trim so please dress for the weather.
Lane Gardens Rehab
December - February
3586 Lane Gardens in Riverside
Want to learn new skills to utilize in your own home improvement projects? Then join Dayton Habitat as we rehab a home in Riverside. Learn skills such as roofing, drywall, painting, and much more. Right now we're finishing the roof demo and preparing to set roof trusses. Please dress for outside work.
Deconstruction
Deconstruction consists of carefully hand removing materials for reuse and recycling. Materials can include removing doors, windows, flooring, trim, appliances, electrical panels, and many other items. The salvageable items are then sold in the Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity Re-Store! This technique reduces the disposal of materials into landfills and provides items for renovations and other small scale construction projects. Volunteer opportunites coming soon!
